Dallas Jakobi began his EFC campaign at Middleweight, where he suffered his only
defeat in the Hexagon to Darren Daniel. He then put together 3 straight wins
before being offered a Welterweight title shot, an opportunity which he grabbed
with both hands. Jakobi would go on to defeat Adam Speechly at EFC Africa 10 and
become the EFC’s second welterweight champion.
Jakobi
has only had one fight at Welterweight in the EFC and has therefore not been
afforded the opportunity of putting any real mark down in the division. He has
a host of interesting fights available against some high level opponents, which
will be a great test for the new champion in his new division.
