South African MMA fighter and grappling guru Chris Bright tweeted a video of his 2007 ADCC fight against Brazilian BJJ specialist Andre Galvao. Galvao finished third in both the u77kg and Absolute divisions at the 2007 championships, but has achieved every major title in his illustrious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu career including ADCC gold, BJJ World Championship gold, Pan American Championships gold and BJJ World Cup gold.

All Stars Grappling League Leg 2 - 05 May 2012

The All Stars Grappling League will host the second leg of its inaugural event on Saturday 5 May 2012. The event, aimed at determining the best Gi and Nogi grapplers in South Africa, has been well supported by the local grappling and MMA communities. The first leg of the event, the Quantum Cup, was held in March this year and  was attended by some of the biggest names in South African MMA including:

The All Stars Grappling League

The All Stars Grappling league was birthed with the goal to find the best grapplers in South Africa., both Gi and No-Gi. 

With its first event, the Quantum Cup, successfully completed last weekend, the league is one step closer to its goal. In the wake of this event, the All Stars Grappling League has launched its official site –  www.allstarsgrappling.co.za. This site will be updated with all the latest information and rankings as the league progresses.

Gavin Britz rolls against Wade Henderson on the left mat, while Ashley Calvert rolls Josh Muller on the right mat. Both fights are semi finals in the Absolute division of the 2011 Quantum Cup, which took place at Quantum Tribe in May last year.
