Benson "Smooth" Henderson, a former WEC champion was dethroned by Anthony Pettis in the last official WEC fight. The defeated champion reset himself in the UFC and set about reclaiming the gold that was taken from him. Four fights later, after a decision victory against Frankie Edgar, Benson Henderson was crowned the UFC lightweight champion. Henderson has yet to defend his title.
